Day 2 of Our State Our Responsibility Campaign at The Tide on 1st August, 2019
Yesterday heralded the flagging Off of this Noble cause, championed by the Ministry of Information and Communications, led by the Permanent Secretary, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, and it’s echoes are already reverberating across the State benchmarking the First leg of this Advocacy Campaign.

It’s no gain saying that Rivers State is a haven for all works of life to thrive, grow & expand. Within three months of visiting, a stranger feels right at home because of the charming hospitality, vibrancy & allure of this State & her people. We boast of 2 Seaports & 1 Airport, which accounts for the influx of goods, services, foreign exchange & equity that keep accruing here.

Our Governor, His Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike is poised to re-engineer governance, development & standard of living, all in a bid to make Rivers State a Pride. He occasionally reiterates unequivocally that he didn’t just come to be governor, he prepared to be governor. And as a man of vision & integrity who matches words with action, he has pursued his preconceived plans for the state, and produced a lot of positive results & developments these last few years which are evidently on display.

Governor Wike who doesn’t pay lip service in aspects of security, has invested into securing the state & it’s residents. With the Operation Sting just kicked Off, all necessary machinery for achieving a peaceful & tranquil state has been put in place, stamping out all wrong notions of insecurity peddled around by detractors bent on the defamation of our blessed Garden City.

We have so much potential for more growth & development, let’s value it. We need to step out & lend our voices to create more talking points in this direction, It’s our story and no one knows it better, so we have to tell it.
